TipSoft Software - Pre Purchase
Q - How much does TipSoft
cost?
A - The price of TipSoft V4 is $800 U.S. for community based Crime
Stoppers programs, Governmental and private entities. Any Student
based Crime Stoppers program may purchase TipSoft V4 at the special
price of $400. TipSoft may be installed on multiple workstations on
a local area network at no additional cost. All international orders
must be paid for by International Postal Money Order payable in U.S.
funds. U.S. customers may pay by check, Visa, Mastercard or Pay Pal.
Q - What is
your upgrade policy?
A - All inline point releases are free for one year from date of
purchase. All new major releases will be 1/2 of the normal retail
price. We do offer competitive upgrade discounts for all.
Q - Do you
have a User's Manual?
A - Yes. TipSoft contains an extensive help file and a we also
provide a 140 page User's Manual on the CD and on our website in MS
Word and Adobe PDF format. Due to the cost and inconvenience of
publishing our own manuals, Anderson Software no longer provides
printed manuals.
Q - Do you
have a demo version available?
A - Yes! We offer a full featured evaluation versions. TipSoft is
built to be distributed as a full functioning software package that
is, by default, limited to use for 30 days or 30 tips. We have a
built in registration routine that allows you to register TipSoft
remotely which will unlock the software for full unlimited use. So,
it is very easy to evaluate TipSoft before you make your purchase.
Then, once the decision is made... it is a very quick and easy
process to register it for fulltime use.
Q - What is
your tech support policy?
A - Tech support is free for a period of one year from the purchase
date. Support is normally available via phone from 9am to 4pm
central time M-F and via email at all times. We strive to provide
the absolute highest level of customer service. Being responsive to
our customers is rated as our primary concern and you will find a
dedication to quality among our developers and tech staff which is
second to none.
Q - What will
be the cost of tech support or upgrades after my first year of
ownership?
A - Tech support plans can be purchased on an annual basis for the
price of $50. Minor point releases and/or updates to the software
will be provided free of charge. Any major new version will be
offered at around 1/2 of the normal retail pricing for existing
customers. Due to the ease of use of TipSoft we doubt many users
will be needing any additional support plans after their initial
year provided free.
Q - Are there
any other fees involved with using TipSoft?
A - Possibly, depending on how you utilize TipSoft. Any users that
plan on using our E-Transfer feature will be required to pay a $10
per month transaction processing fee for the bandwidth usage on our
secure server. Webtip accounts will pay an additional $10/month for
that fantastic feature.
Q - Can our
existing TipSoft data be transferred into TipSoft V4.0?
A - Yes. All current users of TipSoft V2.x and up can seamlessly
upgrade to version 4.0 with no loss of data.
